Privacy policy

Last updated 10 July 2026.

This website (MelbourneWebDesigners.com, "the site") is owned and operated by Helou Holdings Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we handle personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you use the "Get a quote" / matching form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, optional phone number, business name, optional website, and the details of your project (type, goal, budget band, timeline, relationship to the business, and any message). We do not ask for sensitive information.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, to match you with a suitable web design agency (starting with our featured partner SOCIALFUEL where appropriate), and to follow up about your project. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How it's handled

Enquiries submitted through the form are handled by our affiliated agency SOCIALFUEL and stored in our CRM and email systems. Submissions are transmitted securely to our lead-processing system. Some of these providers may process or store data outside Australia (including in the United States) — consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8, and by submitting the form you consent to this cross-border handling. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. We retain enquiry data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. If you have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (with IP anonymisation enabled), and the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies so that we can measure how the site is used and — if we run advertising in future — show relevant ads and build advertising audiences on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Data collected by the Meta Pixel is also processed by Meta under Meta's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of ads personalisation via Meta's Ad preferences or Your Ad Choices (Australia), and you can block cookies entirely in your browser settings — the site keeps working without them.

Third parties

To operate the matching service we use reputable third-party tools (for example, secure form/webhook processing, email and CRM software). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. Outbound links to agency websites are governed by those sites' own policies.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll action reasonable requests promptly.
